Tracking Devices

Tracki GPS Tracker – A tracker that lets you track your valuables worldwide!

Tracki is a very popular tiny and lightweight GPS tracking device that lets you track almost anything like your cars, motorcycle, pets, luggage etc. anywhere across the world. It is lightweight and comes with magnet, lanyard, belt clip and key chain so that you can attach it to your valuables easily.

How far does the Tracki GPS go?

Tracki is one of the few GPS tracker device that is available in the market that supports 4G, 3G and 2G networks.  Therefore, the coverage is possibly worldwide as long as the area has cellular coverage.

The GPS tracking device comes with an in-built SIM card that supports worldwide network. The company claims to have coverage across 190 countries. Additionally you can track your valuables even when you are indoor via WiFi and Bluetooth, which is a really cool feature to have when you are out of mobile network coverage.

How much does it cost?

The tracking device itself costs around $28 and a simple purchase of the tracker wouldn’t let you track anything because you need a valid subscription plan, which additionally would cost you somewhere around $19.99 per month. You can also opt for yearly subscription for more discounted price.

So if you are asking can I use Tracki without subscription, then the answer would be no, just like any other tracking devices available in the market you need subscription.

Battery life of Tracki GPS tracker

The claimed battery life of the GPS tracker is around two to three days when in real-time tracking and one month when in battery saver mode and it is rechargeable.  The best part is that it does not come with built-in non-removable battery, therefore you can change the tracker with new battery easily after the one that comes with the tracker wears out and no need to buy a new tracker every time.

You can also buy the extended battery pack if you require additional extra-long battery life.

Installing Tracki on your car

The best part that I liked about Tracki is that you don’t need any technical knowledge or need to mess with that red wire and white wire thing when it comes to connecting the tracker to your car.  All you need to do is simply attach the Tracki tracker somewhere beneath the dash using the inbuilt magnet that the device comes with. You can also use a double sided tape if wanted.  Since the tracker device comes with its own separate battery there’s no shortage of tracking even when the car’s battery dries out unexpectedly.

The only drawback that I can think of is since the GPS tracker uses a magnet to attach and is not hardwired into your car, it is fairly easy for someone to remove it unless you fix it somewhere very discreet.

Other Features of Tracki GPS Tracker

Some of the other highlighting feature of the Tracki GPS tracker include Geo-fence, low battery alert, over speeding alert, SOS alert by pressing the built-in button.  Tracki supports both IOS and android so you can get real-time alerts via SMS, email and app notification on your iPhone and Android phone without any issues.

And it also comes with waterproofing silicon cover so that you can keep the tracker safe from dust and splashes.
